Boeing sued Virgin Galactic over trade secrets and missed payments
Boeing and subsidiary Aurora Flight Sciences have filed a lawsuit against Virgin Galactic, alleging non-payment of over $25 million and misappropriation of trade secrets related to a mothership project. Virgin Galactic allegedly halted payments after the completion of preliminary design work, with outstanding invoices totaling nearly $26.4 million. Boeing and Aurora claim Virgin Galactic retained proprietary information inadvertently provided during the project. Virgin Galactic has yet to comment further on the lawsuit. (Read More)

GMV secured a $85M ESA contract to help build 5 PNT LEO birds
GMV secured a 78.4 million euro contract from the European Space Agency (ESA) to spearhead the development of a five-satellite Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) constellation for positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT). The deal encompasses payload design, launch services, ground segment support, receiver development, system operations, and service demonstrations. The satellites will transmit signals across multiple bands and feature an "LEO shield" integrity function. GMV will manage the mission with partners including OHB System AG, Alén Space, Beyond Gravity, and Indra, aiming to launch the first satellite within two years and complete the constellation by 2027.
